Pollination (Pollenization)

Bees land on thousands of flowers and trees. They bring the male pollen grain together with the female egg cell to form the nucleus in the flower. This is the basic pollination process and ensures the continued existence of the plant. Honeybees are very important pollinators of flowers, fruits and vegetables.

Importance of bees?

The fact that honey bees are the most effective pollinators is the answer to why bees are so important. Both their own diligence and search for pollen and nectar, as well as the hairs on their bodies play an important role in the bees' ability to carry pollen so well.

90% of flowering plants are pollinated by insects, birds and mammals. Among the pollinating creatures called pollinators, insects have an important share, and among insects, bees have an important share . Agricultural plant species that provide 80-90% of the world's food production are pollinated by pollinators; and 63% of this pollination is thanks to bees. In other words, we can easily say that bees have undertaken more than half of it.
